An Inviting Atmosphere at Neyland Stadium
Neyland Stadium, located in Knoxville, Tennessee, is now one of the biggest university stadiums in the United States. The most recent renovation project was carried out in 2010. It was the architect McCarty Holsaple, in collaboration with a lighting consultant, who initiated this large-scale project with the concept of hanging lanterns.
About the project

Interior Elements, a CLIPSO® sales representative based in Georgia, heard about this project and suggested the functional and decorative solution of backlit printed lightboxes. In all, this project required 1400 ft of P-CC and P-CW profiles and eight pieces of 308T (50% translucent) coverings measuring more than 56 ft by 13 ft. These materials were used to create custom-printed lightboxes which were hung using cables. The company Hilton Display was in charge of installing this very impressive project.
The architects, design team and patrons of Neyland Stadium are very pleased with the final result. The installation far exceeded their expectations. The emblematic orange color emits a warm glow and the printed images immortalize the iconic moments associated with this venue.
