At the University of South Carolina’s brand new alumni center, the architect LS3P had a vision to recreate the USC Gamecock mascot’s tail feathers as a feature ceiling above the grand staircase. Using CLIPSO® 495D acoustic fabric and CLIPSO P-CC profiles, Warco Construction created custom frames at various finished heights. LED uplighting was integrated into the perimeter trim and was used to highlight the various shapes of the CLIPSO feature ceiling.
